It’s once again time to check those cupboards, closets, attics, and basements for still-good and usable items you no longer need or use. Our annual UNSALE which benefits our local community, takes place on Saturday, April 21, from 9-11 a.m. Our neighbors are invited to come and “shop” for free that morning. Gently used clothing, shoes, dishes, pots and pans, sheets and blankets, home furnishing items, books, small appliances, and smaller furniture items are welcome( most of our “shoppers” do not have transportation to take larger items). Children’s clothing, toys, etc., are especially appreciated. Donations will be accepted in our Fellowship Hall, on Friday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are looking for volunteers willing to give a few hours to help accept donations, and to set out and organize items on Friday, between the hours of 8am-7pm, and to assist our guests and help clean up on Saturday, between the hours of 9am-1pm. If you have questions, you can ask one of our Social Concerns members…Mona Lee, Jen Morton, Kathy Nixon, or Tess Shearer.
