We have a large Sudanese membership in our congregation. Many of our members have an interest in helping to rebuild communities in South Sudan. A mission trip to South Sudan each year for the next three years is planned. The First trip took place in February 2012 with nine people from both the congregation and community taking part. One of the main goals is to build community water filters.A number of the Sudanese people are learning to sew here at KLC from a team of talented KLC-member teachers. The ultimate goal is to take this skill to Sudan, and teach people in the cities of Malwal and Bethlehem how to sew clothes, mosquito nets and other items on a sewing machine.
